Refund Policy

Emergency Edge First Aid is committed to delivering high-quality, accessible first aid and emergency response training. Because course seats, venue bookings, and Red Cross participant materials are allocated in advance, the following refund policy applies to all registrations.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Refund requests may be considered under the following conditions:

The request is submitted at least 7 days before the scheduled course start date.

Course materials (including Red Cross online PINs) have not been accessed, activated, or redeemed.

The participant has not attended any portion of the course.

The request aligns with the terms outlined in this policy.
Refunds cannot be issued for:

Red Cross online components that have been activated or accessed
-
No-shows or late arrivals who are unable to complete the course
-
Courses where the participant has already received manuals, materials, or certification
-
Private/on-site bookings where EEFA has already secured venue, travel, or instructional commitments
Emergency Edge First Aid reserves the right to decline refund requests that do not meet the above criteria.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email info@emergencyedge.ca with:

Your full name
-
Course name and scheduled date
-
Order number or receipt
-
Reason for the refund request
We will review your request and respond within 5 business days.
3. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for processing.
4. Course, Private Booking & Event Refunds
Public Courses

Cancellations made 7+ days before the course date:
Eligible for a refund minus a 10% administrative fee -
Cancellations made within 7 days of the course date:
Non-refundable -
Participants may request to transfer into another course date once, subject to availability.
Private / On-Site Bookings
-
Deposits are non-refundable, as they secure instructors, materials, and travel.

Rescheduling with 14+ days notice is permitted at no cost.

Rescheduling within 14 days may incur a fee to cover venue and staffing commitments.
Course Cancellation by EEFA
If Emergency Edge First Aid must cancel or reschedule a course, participants may choose either:

A full refund, or
-
A transfer to a future course at no additional cost.
5. Changes to This Policy
Emergency Edge First Aid may update this policy as needed. Updates will be posted on this page with an amended effective date.
