Service Description
Psychological First Aid (PFA) provides practical, evidence-informed skills to help you recognise stress reactions, offer supportive communication, and promote resilience in yourself and others. Using the Red Cross Look–Listen–Link–Live model, you’ll learn how to provide calm, confident support during situations involving grief, conflict, trauma, or sudden change—without stepping outside your role or acting as a counsellor. This 12-hour certification course combines discussion, guided practice, and realistic scenarios to strengthen your ability to respond to emotional distress in workplaces, community settings, and everyday life. Training focuses on grounding strategies, effective listening, boundaries, and sustainable self-care. Ideal for employees, educators, community volunteers, frontline staff, peer supporters, managers, and anyone who wants practical tools for supporting well-being during challenging moments.
